Please consult the following FAQs before updating your DNS settings in regards to your Network Solutions Email:

If My Domain Is with Network Solutions, then How Do I Update the DNS to Get My Network Solutions Email to Function?

Follow these instructions to update the DNS for your Network Solutions email account:

  1. 1. Click here and log in to the Account Manager.
  2. 2. Click My Domain Names.
  3. 3. Click the desired domain name.
  4. 4. Click Change Where Domain Points.
  5. 5. Select Advanced DNS and click Continue.
  6. 6. If your name servers are not currently set to Network Solutions name servers, you will be presented with a warning that service interruption will occur. Click Move Name Servers to Network Solutions.
  7. If your name servers were already on Network Solutions name servers, you will be presented with an option to Reset Network Solutions Servers. Select Email and click Reset.

If My Domain Is with a Provider Other Than Network Solutions, then How Do I View What My DNS Settings Should Be for My Network Solutions Provided Email Box?

Follow these instructions to view DNS settings for your domain:

  1. 1. Click here and log in to the Account Manager.
  2. Click Manage Account, which is located on the top right corner of the page.
  3. Enter your Username and Password and click Login.
  4. 2. Click My Email.
  5. 3. Navigate to the desired mailbox and click the Manage button, located on the same row as the desired mailbox. Or click the mailbox name.
  6. 4. The Email box Details now appears for the desired mailbox.
  7. Scroll down towards the bottom of the page to locate the section titled DNS Records.
  8. This will contain the records that you will need to have input into your current DNS provider’s records.
