Note: Advanced DNS updates will take up to 2 hours to take effect. Updates may resolve more quickly at some locations than others because many name servers on the Internet retrieve updates at different times.

Network Solutions

To add an IPv6 AAAA (quad-A) record, please log into your Network Solutions® account and follow these steps. Your request will be reviewed, authenticated, and processed within 24 to 48 business hours.

  1. 1. Click here and log in to the Account Manager.
  2. 2. Click nsWebAddress™ (Domains).
  3. 3. Click Manage Domains.
  4. 4. Click the selected Domain, then Domain Detail page will open.
  5. 5. Check the Designated DNS button, then click Apply Changes.
  6. 6. Click Move DNS under Change Domain Name Servers.
  7. 7. Follow the Advanced User instructions in the box on the Edit DNS page and send an email with the appropriate information to IPV6Req@networksolutions.com.
  8. You have updated your IPv6 records.

Advanced Users: To specify your IPv6 name server address (IPv6 glue record), e-mail us the domain name, the host name of the name server(s), and their IPv6 address(es).

Web.com

In regards to the addition of IPV6 records please note that Web.com’s System does not support the addition of SRV records.

Register.com
