Perform the following steps to begin setting up your Web Hosting Package:

Step 1: Log into Your Account:

  1. 1. Click here and to log in to the Account Manager.
  2. 2. Enter your Username and Password, then click Login.

Step 2: Assign Your Domain Name to Your Hosting Package:

  1. 1. From the Account Manager, click the My Products & Services tab.
  2. 2. Click My Hosting Packages.
    • If you have multiple hosting packages, then you are prompted to select the package that you are updating.
  3. 3. Click Assign/Edit Your Domain.
  4. 4. Click Assign New.
  5. Select a Domain from the drop-down box and click Select.
    • If your domain is not listed, click –Add domain not listed, then click Select. Then type in the domain name and click Select. Follow the instructions displayed to configure the DNS to point correctly to your site.
    • If you have not yet registered a domain, you can purchase and register a new domain, then click Domain Names in the top navigation bar. Once the domain is registered, then start from the beginning with the Step 2 instructions.

Step 3: Set Up Your Email:

  1. 1. From the Account Manager, click the My Products & Services tab.
  2. 2. Click My Email.
  3. 3. Click the Create Mailbox link that is listed on the Hosting Package Email line item.
    • If you have multiple hosting packages, you will be prompted to select the package that you are updating and click Continue.
  4. 4. Under Emailbox Name, enter the first part of your email address, which will displayed before the @ sign in your email address.
  5. 5. Select your domain name from the Select Domain drop-down box.
  6. 6. Create a password for your mailbox, then enter the password in the Emailbox Password field and Confirm Password field.
  7. 7. Repeat items 4 through 6 for any additional email addresses that you would like to set up.

Step 4: Decide How You Are Going to Build and Upload Your Site:

Option 1: Use our Built-in Website Builder Tool

  • Use the built-in Website Builder Tool to build and publish your site. No web design experience necessary!

Option 2: Design your Own Website and upload your site via FTP or File Manager.

Perform the following steps to begin setting up your Web Hosting Package:

Step 1: Log into Your Account:

  1. 1. Click here and log in to the Account Manager.
  2. 2. Click the My Hosting Packages link.
    • if they have multiple hosting packages, they will have to select the one they want to manage
  3. Hosting Control Panel will now launch in a new window or tab.  If for some reason it doesn't, please allow popups or disable and try again.

Step 2: Assign Your Domain Name to Your Hosting Package:

  1. 1. Access the Web Hosting Control Panel. For help, please see How Do I Access the Web Hosting Control Panel?
  2. 2. Click Domains from the left navigation bar
  3. 3.Click + Add Domain Pointer
  4. 4.If you would like a subdomain, (Ex: blog.janesbagels.com), check the box for sub domain and enter the sub domain (ex: blog)
  5. 5.If you would like to ensure your website resolves with www, be sure to leave that checked.
  6. 6.select your domain from the drop down.
    1. if you domain is not listed, select "Not listed" and type in the domain you wish to point.
  7. 7.Select the directory you would like to point to. /htdocs is the default directory, which serves as the root for your website.  If you wish to point to a sub folder within your website, that is called a directory pointer. You can select a sub folder by clicking on /htdocs and selecting another folder.
  8. 8) Click save to finish.

Step 3: Set Up Your Email:

  1. To access your email messages, you must first set up your e mailbox with a name and password.

    To set up an emailbox associated with your Hosting Package:

  2. 1. Log into your hosting control panel (How Do I Access the Web Hosting Control Panel?)
  3. 2. Click on Email Accounts from left navigation
  4. 3. Click + Add Email Account
  5. 4. Fill out the required fields and click save.
  6. Pwd Requirements:  
  7. Must be 12-14 characters and contain at least 3 of the following:
  8. Special characters
  9. Numbers
  10. Lowercase letter
  11. Upptercase letter

Step 4: Decide How You Are Going to Build and Upload Your Site:

Option 1: Use our Built-in Website Builder Tool

("Click Website Management" from left navigation bar.  Click on Website Builder to launch or install from a list of Open Source applications)

  • Use the built-in Website Builder Tool to build and publish your site. No web design experience necessary!
  • Use an open source application, such as Joomla or WordPress

Option 2: Design your Own Website and upload your site via FTP or File Manager.
