Follow these instructions to leave a copy of your mail on the server using the different Microsoft and Windows email programs:

Microsoft Outlook®Express

1. On the Tools menu, click the Accounts option.

2. On the Internet Accounts panel, click the Mail tab.

3. Then select the account you wish to edit by double-clicking the account and selecting Properties on the right.

4. On the Advanced tab, check the Leave a copy of the Message on the Server box.

Your mail now leaves a copy of the message on the server.

Microsoft Outlook®2003

1. On the Tools menu, click the E-mail Accounts option.

2. On the Email Accounts panel, select the View or change existing e-mail accounts option, then click Next.

3. Select the account you wish to edit by double-clicking the account and selecting Change.

4. On the Internet E-mail Settings page, click More Settings.

5. On the More Settings page, click the Advanced tab.

6. On the Advanced tab, check the Leave a copy of the Message on the Server box.

Your mail now leaves a copy of the message on the server.

Microsoft Outlook®2007

1. On the Tools menu, click the Account Settings option.

2. On the E-mail accounts panel, click the E-mail tab.

3. Select the account you wish to edit by double-clicking the account and selecting Change.

4. On the Internet E-mail Settings page, click More Settings.

5. On the Advanced tab, check the Leave a copy of the Message on the Server box.

From here you can also select if you would like to remove mail from the server after a set amount of days. Or you can remove mail from the server when deleted from the Deleted Items folder in Outlook.

Your mail now leaves a copy of the message on the server.

Microsoft Outlook®2010

1. On the File menu, click the Account Settings option.

2.Select the account you wish to edit by double-clicking the account and selecting Change.

3.On the Internet E-mail Settings page, click More Settings.

4. On the Advanced tab, check the Leave a copy of the Message on the Server box.

Your mail now leaves a copy of the message on the server.

Windows®Live Mail

1. On the Tools menu, click the Accounts option.

2. On the Internet Accounts panel, click the Mail tab.

3. Then select the account you wish to edit by double-clicking the account and selecting Properties on the right.

4. On the Advanced tab, check the Leave a copy of the Message on the Server box.

Your mail now leaves a copy of the message on the server.
